From Spreadsheets to Code: Excel and Python Integration

Image
The Code Report has just announced a game-changing development in the world of software development. Many developers might not readily admit it, but that innovative app they're painstakingly building could potentially have been created using a tool that's been around for decades: Microsoft Excel. Surprisingly, Excel, which debuted in 1985, stands as a pivotal software in our modern service-oriented economy. During my time in a mundane office job, I discovered the initial inklings of programming through Excel formulas. While Excel can be linked with Visual Basic for rudimentary programming, a more dynamic solution has emerged. Hyundai's LONIQ 5 Introduces Sideways Crab Drive

Image
Hyundai, the car manufacturer, has introduced an innovative feature in their LONIQ 5 vehicle that allows its wheels to rotate up to 90 degrees, enabling the car to drive sideways, a concept known as "crab" driving. This technology was developed by Hyundai Mobis, the car parts production arm of Hyundai Motor Group, and was showcased on the electric Ioniq 5 at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023. Originally presented as a concept at CES 2018, this technology offers a novel approach to vehicle mobility. It permits the Ioniq 5 to move not only in the conventional forward and backward directions but also laterally and diagonally. This functionality is achieved through the integration of what Hyundai refers to as an "e-Corner module" or "e-Corner system." This system essentially combines steering, braking, suspension, and drive components into each wheel, allowing them to rotate up to 90 degrees, thereby enabling sideways movement. The e-Corner mo...
