OpenAI's Strawberry project, builds a new AI model 100 times more powerful than GPT-4

The Information reported on August 26 that Project Strawberry will be mathematically and programming superior to any existing chatbot — the GPT-Next model is 100 times more powerful than GPT-4 and is capable of real-time video analysis, shared “two people involved in the project.” OpenAI is likely to release its most powerful AI model this fall (September-November), and may integrate it into ChatGPT-5, the new version of its chatbot and virtual assistant that it launched in late 2022. This secret project, which OpenAI has been working on for a long time, was previously known as Project Q* (Q-star), and is now codenamed Project Strawberry. It is expected to be able to self-study the internet and significantly improve AI reasoning.
